Job Summary
Assist the CEO in oversight of operation of Physician Practice and ancillary services.  Responsible for administrative functions, including operations, finance, and training.  This position will be a super user for the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and help with training, testing, implementation and support in any area associated with the Bone and Joint Institute.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field; or equivalent experience.  EHR experience required. 

Workplace Experience
At least three years in managing physician practice, billing/collections, administrative duties.  Demonstrate leadership, managerial ability, training ability, project management, process improvement and good interpersonal skills.

Equipment and Skills Training
Strong Computer Skills, Communication and Presentation Skills required. Demonstrated ability to self-direct, meet deadline and support Physician Groups. 

Physical Environment
Physician and Clinical setting/environment.

Physical Effort
Requires the ability to communicate proficiently; oral and written. Requires prolonged standing and working up to twelve hours if needed. Requires the ability to lift minimal amounts (20-25 lbs).

Responsibilities 

1. Provide liaison support to help customize, and troubleshoot issues in the ambulatory EHR.
2. Provide ambulatory EHR training to staff and develop documentation for providers and system users.
3. Assist with the management of physician billing and collections and ensures accounts are handled promptly.
4. Assist in creation of capital and operational budgets and insures operational budget is met. 
5. Regularly round with practice coordinators and end users to ensure expected procedures and functionality match actual.
6 Oversees HR duties for practices to include employment, employee relations and terminations under the direction of Human Resources. 
7 Participates in Policy Development for BJIT and/or unit specific policies. 
8 Responsible for all staff evaluations to be completed and submitted on time.
9 Cross-train practice super users and IT team members on EHR operation and customization.
10 Coordinate and implement downtime training for staff to prevent loss of productivity in down times.
11 Conduct departmental meeting as needed for hospital updates, policy changes, etc. 
12 Work with CEO and BJIT Board to improve business development of current and/or future growing included adding of ancillary services and new clinic locations.
