Position Summary:

This employee functions as a primary care physician and health officer for the Williamson County Health Department

Position Requirements:

Formal Education / Training:
MD or DO Degree
Appropriate Board Certification

Workplace Experience:
At least three years of independent medical practice experience

Equipment and Skills Training:
Appropriate skills and training expected for a private physician within the specialty of family practice.
Good computer skills.

Physical Environment:
Medical office and clinic environment.

Physical Effort:
May be required to lift and/or move patients as necessary within the practice.
Key Results:

Supervises nurse practitioners at the Williamson County Health Department’s Fairview Clinic.
Maintains medical staff credentials in good standing at Williamson Medical Center.
Provides direct patient care for patients of the Williamson County Health Department Clinic.
Maintains a good working relationship with the other medical professionals within the clinic.
Participates in Health Department meetings and training activities at the local and regional level.
Maintains good working relationships with other leadership personnel at the clinic.
Maintains an open attitude toward new procedures, operations changes, and new techniques.
Maintains their practice in such a way as to promote good patient satisfaction results.
